Liz Moothart is the senior director of marketing at Ellation. In this role, Moothart drives strategy around customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and subscription growth for Ellation’s SVOD services Crunchyroll, the world's most popular anime brand, and VRV, the fandom-focused video platform featuring premium streaming channels including Crunchyroll, NickSplat, Rooster Teeth, Shudder, HIDIVE and more. Ellation’s platforms boast more than 50 million registered users and 2 million subscribers.
During her time at Ellation, Moothart built the Crunchyroll user
acquisition and retention strategy to grow the platform to over one million subscribers in less than four years, as well as creating and driving all launch marketing for VRV in 2016.
Before Ellation, Moothart cut her teeth at Hulu and eHarmony where she focused on growth marketing for the B2C subscription services.
Moothart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration - Marketing and a Master of Arts degree in International Business from the University of Florida.
