Thea S. Ellis is Head of Content Acquisition at PlayStation Vue. In her current role, Thea crafts the content strategy for Sony’s virtual pay-television service while also leading the team responsible for the acquisition and renewal of all linear networks and video on-demand content available on the service. Prior to joining Sony, Thea led negotiations for key programming groups available via DISH Network—both for its satellite TV service and Sling TV, the first virtual multichannel video programming distributor in the United
States—where she secured multi-year, billion-dollar distribution agreements with Scripps Networks Interactive, Viacom Media Networks, and premium service EPIX Networks, to name a few.
 
Prior to DISH, Thea was a talent publicist at Los Angeles-based public relations firm Fifteen Minutes, where she shaped and expanded the personal brands of film, television, and sports figures.
 
Thea earned her Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
